On a GLP-1? Eating less isn't the same as eating well.

GLP-1 NUTRITION SUPPORT

You're on semaglutide or tirzepatide, or you're about to be, and you've noticed what nobody warned you about: you're eating less, but you're also tired, your hair is thinning, your digestion is off, and you're wondering what happens to your weight the day the prescription ends.

We work with people who are already on the medication, or working with a prescriber, and who want to do this well. That means protecting muscle, managing side effects with food instead of white-knuckling them, and building the habits that hold after.

We don't prescribe GLP-1 medications. If you're looking for a prescription, your physician or a telehealth prescriber is the right first stop.

Reflux, constipation and bloating.

Acid reflux shows up on a GLP-1 even in people who never had it before, and constipation is close to universal. We address both with food, timing and herbal support, rather than adding another medication to the list.

Fiber and protein that help the drug work.

Protein matters, so the weight you lose is fat and not muscle. But fiber matters just as much: it feeds the gut bacteria that make short-chain fatty acids, which support the same signaling the medication acts on. Most patients on a GLP-1 aren't getting any. We build both in, so the medication works better and you keep your muscle.

Minerals and electrolytes.

Smaller meals mean fewer minerals, and on these medications you run through them faster. Fatigue, cramps and headaches often trace back here. We replace what's missing with food and mineral support.

WHAT WE DO DIFFERENTLY

MORE ABOUT FUNCTIONAL TESTING

Testing, when it's useful.

For some people, feeling worse on a GLP-1 isn't the medication. It's a mineral deficiency the smaller meals uncovered, or a gut that was already struggling. When the pattern points that way, we can run mineral (HTMA) or gut (GI-MAP) testing and build the plan from what it shows, instead of guessing.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Most people leave the prescriber's office with a handout about protein. The problems we see every week are different. Here's how we work through them.

Make the medication count. Then keep the results.
