Apple Spice Smoothie Bowl

A recipe from Amanda Adapted from Purely Kaylee 


Ingredients:


  • 1 medium-sized apple of choice, cored, skin on 

  • 1 medium-sized banana, peeled and frozen 

  • 1/4th cup rolled oats 

  • 2 medjool dates, pitted 

  • 2 TBSP chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract 

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/8th tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/8th tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened milk

  • Your favorite vanilla protein powder (optional) 


Procedure:


  1. Add ingredients in a blender and blend all ingredients until smooth and well combined.

  2. Pour ingredients into a bowl and top with chopped nuts of choice. 

  3. For a thicker, pudding-like consistency, pour mixture into an air tight container and allow to set up for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator. Store for up to 3 days.
